Miss Salina
Owner / Director / Teacher

Hi there! For those of you I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting yet, I’m Miss Salina. I love to smile, I love my family, and I love to dance. When I opened the doors to Studio360 in September of 2016, I had no idea the blessings waiting ahead of me. Somehow I’ve blinked and we are entering our 6th season. What a journey is has been!

Over the years I’ve had the tremendous honor of working with hundreds of dancers and I can honestly say I fall more in love with what I do every day. Dance has always been my home—the place where I felt most alive, most free, the best version of myself. Being able to share that gift with my community is something I treasure deeply. It’s always been about more than dancing. It’s about a safe place to land, a listening ear, a role model, an inspiration to reach new heights. I am always learning, always growing, and I will continue to do that as I strive for excellence and offering the best of the best at Studio360.

I could not have created what Studio360 is today without YOU! Every person who has signed their kids up, shared a kind word about us to a friend, supported our recitals—you are forever woven into the fabric that is our beautiful studio.

Miss Erica
Teacher - Littles and Hip Hop

Hello everyone, Miss Erica here! This is a photo of me and my kids, because let’s be honest every recent picture I have of myself includes at least one of them 🙂. I have a 12 year old daughter who also dances at the studio, two boys ages 5 and 6 and a 2 month old baby girl 💛

I have danced since age 3 at Port Angeles Dance Company and then furthered my dance experience on the Central Washington University’s Dance Company. I completed a minor in dance but after having my first daughter, I took a break and lived vicariously through her watching her dance herself. A few years back, Miss Salina approached me to teach at the studio and I didn’t hesitate for one second! I’m three years in here at Studio 360 and I couldn’t be happier. I love to teach the roots and foundations of Hip Hop while still having fun and keeping it age appropriate. For the littles ballet, I enjoy teaching the stepping stones of ballet and allowing space for imaginary dance and play while teaching space awareness and rhythm.

Miss Kristina
Teacher - Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Tap, Irish

Miss Kristina loves teaching dance! She began her training in classical ballet in Eastern Washington, where she performed with the Mid-Columbia Ballet. She also performed and competed in Irish Dance at that time. Since then, she has been trained in ballet, modern, jazz, tap, social dance, and various world styles.
Miss Kristina received her Bachelor’s in Dance Education from Brigham Young University- Idaho. While in college she performed extensively and taught classes as an instructor.
She has a strong interest in safe, anatomically correct movement for her students and believes in promoting body positivity and self confidence through dance. She is also a certified yoga instructor and often incorporates these movements and philosophies into her classes to enhance the student experience.

Miss Molly
Operations Manager

Molly is our Operations Manager and Salina’s assistant in running the dance studio and will also be teaching some dance classes! Molly grew up dancing at the Port Angeles Dance Center and continued through college at Eastern Washington University, earning her Bachelors of Arts in Studio and Performing Arts. After college she had an internship in NYC where she got to experience taking classes at the Broadway Dance Company, performed with dancers from across the country, and had her artwork featured in a gallery in Queens. Since returning to Port Angeles in 2014 Molly has taken on many new exciting projects in the community including founding the SPARK Squad after school program at Shore Aquatic Center, doing landscape design for Airport Garden Center, working at the new Field Arts and Events Hall downtown, and finding a home to dance and work here at Studio360. Outside of work Molly enjoys backpacking trips in the national park, hunting and fishing on the west end, traveling the USA and abroad, and spending time with her family and friends.

Miss Lauren
Teacher - Littles and Funk

I was born and raised in Sequim and recently moved back to raise my family here! I danced as a young child and again in high school and through college. I was originally working in the medical field but once my husband and I moved away I wanted to follow my passion and found an awesome dance studio that I worked for in Graham WA. Once I moved back I reached out to Miss Salina to see if she needed any help at the studio. I love working with kids and have either worked in the medical setting with them, assisted at a preschool with them or have taught cheer camps, and now teaching my passion of dance to them. I love to have fun in my classes all while teaching them the basics and fundamentals of dance. I want them to have fun and to be comfortable in their bodies all while letting loose and dancing their heart outs.

Miss Alex
Teacher - Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Pointe, Funk

Alex Opinsky has danced for most of her life, starting her career in her hometown Anchorage, Alaska. In Alaska she studied under Stephanie Wonchala of Pulse Dance Company. Alex continued her studies in Seattle, Washington earning a Bachelors of Fine Art in dance from Cornish College of the Arts. During her time at Cornish she studied and worked under Wade Madsen, Pat Hon, Stephanie Zeletel, Michelle Miller, and Laura Ann Smyth. Alex has also performed works by Zoe Scofield of zoe|juniper, and Mark Haim. She is an avid photographer and videographer. Alex loves teaching and feels blessed to do so at Studio360.

Miss Jess
Teacher - Ballet, Modern, Funk, Latin Rhythm

Jess is a Sequim native and began dancing while participating in musical theater and cheerleading. Her interests deepened while completing her BA in Latin American and Caribbean Studies at the University of Washington which included courses in ethnomusicology and experiential dance as well as studying abroad in Brazil and extensive travel outside the USA. Post university, she participated in a Work Study Program at Velocity Dance Studio in Seattle for nearly three years studying various dance styles including West African, Modern, Ballet, Hip Hop, Funk, House and Vogue.  She was a member of several small dance troupes including Gansango Music and Dance and Bahia in Motion, which focused on contemporary West African and Afro-Brazilian styles, respectively, while working in the childcare, non-profit and food industries. For her, dance as well as the contextual study of diverse cultures and languages have been pivotal in her sense of identity, freedom and wellness. She is grateful to share her passion for movement with dancers of every age and ability as she continues to grow and learn in this beautiful art form to help foster community joy and self-expression.

Miss Maria
Teacher - Littles

Hi I’m Miss Maria and am so excited to be teaching our tiniest dancers!! Miss Salina is my sister so dance and its world have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I went to school for Early Childhood Education, eventually I switched paths and after getting my degree have a career in accounting (a far cry from spending my days with little ones). Music and dancing feed the creative side of me me that my career doesn’t- it’s impossible to be cranky or too stressed when you’re dancing!  When Salina opened Studio 360 I assisted her and really got my teaching bug back, then I took some time off to have babies of my own and am so excited to be at a point where I can teach again! I can’t wait to see what this year holds and am thrilled to be part of the Studio 360 Team!
